EY Hiring for Associate Business Analyst

Required Key Skills 

• Transaction capture / processing
• Processing capital activity
• Accounting for fund income
• Expense accruals and payments
• Management / performance fee calculation and accrual
• Processing corporate actions
• Valuation / Pricing financial instruments
• Reconciliation of cash and position records
• Preparing and closing fund / entity financials
• Calculating and processing NAV
• Investor / Regulatory / Internal reporting

Skills and attributes for success

• Prior experience of performing these activities for Alternative asset managers
• Understanding of private equity, credit and hedge fund strategies
• Strong finance / accounting acumen ‐ quickly be able to understand the requirements and its complexities
• Experience and/or knowledge of downstream and upstream activities in the fund accounting value chain
• Strong interpersonal skills‐ ability to work well across teams / geographies
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Powepoint,
• Experience with Investran, Geneva is a plus
• Clear intellectual curiosity with the drive and potential to succeed in a fast paced work environment, having shown comfort with the ambiguity of an evolving, dynamic firm
• Self‐starter who is detail oriented, very organized and pro‐active in executing  responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage and complete multiple priorities on time  with minimal direction
• Willing to work beyond normal business hours
